I checked online and usps says my package was delivered fri at 3:30 pm. I didn't receive anything. Is there a chance they might mail it today? Or is it lost or stolen? I called, but they said there is no tracking info available for my item.

Yes they do,

Call the PO again & ask to speak to the manager. Inform her\him of what's going on; that you've not receive your parcel inspite an online indication of it being delivered. Insist that the manager speak to the USPS delivery personnel who delivered it. Because it never reach you. Provide a telephone # where the manager can return your call, regarding the whereabouts of your parcel.

Here our Mail Carrier leaves a notice in the mailbox, inspite of people being home. One must either go in person or request a re-delivery. Then when re-delivery occurs, the Carrier rings the lobby bell & the person must go downstairs. Pain in the neck.
