I need FREE technical support for my Ipod!!!!

I HATE Apple! Ok....

So, my ipod is not being recognized on my computer. I thought it was my usb cord, but I switched it out and it's still not being recognized. It doesn't charge at all and itunes won't open unless I open it myself. I called technical support and they tell me that the only way they'll walk me through what the problem is is if I pay $39.99 because my ipod (classic) is not warranteed anymore mad If not, then I can go to the website....which sucks ass! All it says is reset, reset, reset! evil DON'T YOU THINK I'VE TRIED THAT SHIT ALREADY?!?!?!?!?!?!? It also tells me to restore, which I can't do because MY COMPUTER WON'T RECOGNIZE MY DAMN IPOD!!!! mad

Anyway, I've downloaded the latest itunes, and the latest EVERYTHING! I've updated my drivers and still nothing! My ipod battery is in the red!! I need my music!!!! SOMEONE HELP ME! WHAT IS WRONG?????

You reset your IPOD by doing this?

To reset iPod, iPod (scroll wheel), iPod (touch wheel), and iPod (dock connector)

Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
Press and hold the Play/Pause and Menu buttons simultaneously until the Apple/iPod logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

Steps to reset your iPod:

1.Toggle the Hold switch on and off

2.Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears (about 6 to 10 seconds).

3.You will see the Apple Logo appear and your iPod will come to life with a lit screen. If this does not happen please within 2 mintues please repeat steps 1 and 2.

This might help also. smile

I have reset, that's what I said. Resetting is not doing anything but draining my battery. I just called back to Apple and the lady tells me to put my ipod into "disk mode" neutral I did that and followed the directions on Apple's website, and still no haps mad It's in "disk mode", but it's still not charging or being recognized in itunes. WTF?!?!?!?!? bawl
