makes a note to hit my local Popeye's soon

The only problem with Popeyes is,they have so many great stuff on their menu,it's hard for me to decide what to get! I love seafood and so I have to decide if I want their catfish meal,or their shrimp meal,or the jambalaya,or just a regular chicken meal lol More often than not,I get a combination of everything.

They have a shrimp meal? excited Okay, I definitely gotta try that. giggle
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I was talking to my best friend last night about chicken and he HATES dark meat. So, last night he bought an 8 piece dinner, ate the white meat, and threw away the rest. Apparently, he does this regularly. Only in America. disbelief

I was visiting a relative in ATL, and in honor of my little homecoming they made fried chicken...they had the whole set up in the backyard with the deepfat frier and the whole bit...do know the first batch came out just a tad bit too brown and she wouldn't even feed it to her dogs...? She just threw it away. It wasn't even burnt,it was just not that golden color she wanted...I was like "Chile, what in the world hmm?..."

OMG wow, did u say anything. Surely there r peeps who can't find a grain of rice and she throws it out! Wow!

I'm the opposite. . . I always go with the intention to try one of the other dishes because they look skrumptious but I always end up with the same damn thang:

a 2 piece, breast and thigh spicy
red beans and rice more rice than beans
a skrawberry soda
and a biscuit

drooling

I'm talking all this shit but ain't had Popeye's since last year. Our local Kroger has a bomb ass fried chicken in their deli that's actually much lighter than Popeye's even though it's not as flavorful. But you can get an 8 piece family deal for 7.99. I've been getting that on the regular. It be calling me like I'm Pookie. shake

I do too but I don't know how to make a good batter for it confused. I always mess up the breading/batter for it! I found a new website similar to youtube that has cooking videos to teach you everything you ever wanted to learn to cook, though batting eyes... my goal is to get fried shrimp 100% down in my repetoire! mad

There have been auto dealerships in the Cleveland area where you could buy a car and get another for "free" (taxes and fees only).

Also places where you could buy a home or a condo and get a "free" Smart Car.
