Revenge of the Ex... The Irony of Easter.

Troy and I met when I was 21, and we dated for the better half 5 and half years. The final nail in the coffin was Easter two years ago. Troy traveled alot while we were dating, he would be gone about 6 months out of the year for his job. Needless to say it wasn't the smoothest relationship. In course of this time we never spent an Easter together, which to me was no big deal because it wasn't one of those big Family Holidays for me. Easter lost a lot of meaning for me when my grandfather died, I think that's why I started to really resent the Catholic Church. Well Easter 07, I found out that was Troy's favorite holiday. I had all ready made plans to be in SF for the day and thought it would be no big deal. Turns out it was. I got a text on Good Friday from him asking me what I was doing and I told him and he said we aren't together when I come back if I go. Well he was true to his word. This time last year I got the passive aggressive email from him that I shared on here before it was removed.

Well with everything that is going on in my life I needed to talk to someone who was kinda there for alot of the beginning of what is going on. I reached out to him because I noticed he was friends with a Sister on facebook. Troy and I started talking starting making some amends and closure to things. He's dating someone now, and I'll staying at his place in the SOMA district of SF for my Easter Trip.

It's kinda weird to me but kinda nice at the same time. I hope we don't fight LOL, but it will be good to see him again.

I think closure is healthy. I wish you luck on your stay with him.
