To classic anime fans- Dragonball Z to be re-edited and remastered for HDTV in Japan. Titled "Dragon Ball Kai" from Daizenshuu EX

The legend of Z will be back with the newest digital technology!! Starts at 9:00AM in April 5th 2009, on Fuji TV!! 1. More exciting by re-editing!!: The footage will be totally re-edited and HD-remastered!! 2. New opening and ending!!: Both footage and songs will be renewed! DragonBall Kai Details Posted by: Hujio Saturday, February 21st, 2009 @ 11:58 AM CST After leaking the Jump Anime Tour Special character sheets and breaking the news of a DragonBall Z "refresh," I think we can trust our inside man Wasted Wisher. Since the announcement of the "refresh," there has been some speculation as to what exactly DragonBall Kai will be like. So, here are a few things Wasted Wisher has told us will be in the upcoming first episode: * A brief look at the last moments of Bardock and Planet Vegeta. * An overview of DragonBall, from Goku's younger years up until his triumph over Piccolo at the 23rd Tenkaichi Budoukai. * The all-too-brief and yet still somewhat triumphant return of "FARMER WITH A SHOTGUN!" * Goku's winky has disappeared! That's right, no more Goku frontal nudity. But don't worry, they won't do anything so blatant as to digitize tighty-whiteys on him. Hopefully some more details will surface as we get closer to April 5th, but at least now we have a little better idea of what's coming our way.

Yeah, the original series will still be available, they're treating this like it's a NEW series. In the States, we have those Season Sets(which alot of fanboys hate) and Japan has the "Dragonboxes" http://www.kanzentai.com/dvd.php DragonBox 1 is the entire Dragonball series DragonBox 2 is DBZ from the beginning to the Freeza saga DragonBox 3 is DBZ to the Garlic Jr to the end of the series DragonBox 4 is the entire Dragonball GT series DragonBox 5 is the movies "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. yeah GT aint that great its mostly from super unbelievable strong to even stronger to even stronger to it gets so corny can we stop. And the thing only has 64 eps. Gohan is nerdy and it's mostly about Goku. Also Vegeta thought growing a mustache was a good thing. | |

Akira Toriyama was so tired of Dragonball he refused to take part in it But it seems now he's warming up back to it. He worked on the "Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return!" special that came out in November, he's working on this online RPG called "Dragonball Online", that is going to be seen as part of the OFFICIAL Dragonball timeline (basically, GT never happened ) and he did some new cover artwork for the manga's re-release in Japan back in 2006"We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. Man Evolution sucks Donkey Kong Diddy Kong and Yoshi balls, if you ask me. They totally messed with the story. Why is Goku in school, and bullied. It's like a school romance flick or something. Also they messed up Piccolo and confused him with Pilaf. And so many more things wrong And to quote someone else what I read online. "The Kamehameha is an energy attack... not the ki equivalent to the clapper"
