There is potentially a rocking one coming out in 2010 (if you can wait that long)

It is based on some excellent books called Hyperion by Dan Simmons and the rights to it have been purchased by GK Partnership(who have made major movies such as Gangs of New York, The Departed and lots of other top stuff) and it is being released by Warner Bros.

The books really are the dogs bollocks and if it comes together i am sure it will be one to go see

So is Martin Scorsese directing it?
Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

No Scott Derrickson is, he just directed The Day the Earth Stood Still so at least he has experience in the right genre

Graeme King the man behind GK Partnership obviously likes working with Scorsese though smile

The Surrogates with Bruce Willis has the potential to be good. But I think it's not coming till September.

I suppose in some ways the upcoming Wolverine movie could be called science fiction.

πρὸς ὀλίγον ἐστὶ τὸ ζῆν
τὸ τέλος ὁ χρόνος ἀπαιτεῖ.”

Sleep Dealer (Apr. 17)

The Mutant Chronicles (Apr. 24)

Battle for Terra (May 1)
