How long after someone passes... I want to know how long after someone passes is their funeral....? unlucky7 reincarnated | |

It depends... 
- religious beliefs - whether or not there is an autopsy - whether or not they are waiting for extended family to arrive from other parts of the country or world - availability of facilities (church, funeral home) - funding I have known people who have been in all of these situations, making the funerals anywhere from the next day to 2 weeks later.
