For the past two years, I've bought almost nothing but clothes and accessories from Banana Republic; shoes from Banana Republic or Aldo. I like the brands well enough -- durable, classic lines that are aware of trend, yet don't altogether immerse themselves in it. But I honestly think my loyalty is largely just OCD kicking in. neutral

I don't have a specific place.
- For one thing, I like the "hunt" of shopping. I don't believe in shopping from displays, so I'll buy a piece here and a piece there... biggrin
- Plus, I buy shoes, shoes and more shoes, so I buy clothes to match them. redface
- Also, I can't shop where everyone else shops- like big department stores and such. If Macy's has 20 of something on a rack, and there are Macy's in every mall in the area, then U are bound to see that outfit on EVERYone. doh!

** Like today, I wore a dress that I found in my Granny's closet. That dress was over 30 years old. It's machine-washable (late-60s, early 70s gabardine); I washed that bad boy, accessorized it to update the look, and wore it with pride. I got my "retro" on. People were asking where I got it! wink

Your lies, they cut me.
Now your words don't mean a thing.
I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..."

I absolutely HATE to shop. When I do I like to go to out of the way funky second hand shops. Name brand at cost saving prices. I do love a cool find.

I hate shopping in the Uk and tend to buy all my clothes whilst on holiday in Florida (LOVE to spree!) although I do buy the odd piece from home.

About 95% of my wardrobe is from Old Navy, Gap and Banana Republic and my casuals from aeropostale and abercrombie (though I done have many pieces from a&f as I'm too fat for that skinny assed label!)

In the uk I tend to buy from cheaper places like Matalan and I have a few pieces from Primark (which I tend to customize).

For basic stuff, Lands' End.

Otherwise, fabric stores - I make about half of my clothes.
