The day my Crest Spinbrush died... My mom picked me up one of these a few months ago. I'll admit, at first I thought it sucked. The handle was too heavy and bulky, and it had a wierd balance when trying to brush my teeth.
But over time, the little bugger started to grow on me. I learned to be more passive with it, and let it do the work instead. My gums never looked better. I became accustomed to that griding motor and that vibrating feeling. Hell, I even bought replacement brushes for it. Then about a month ago, i noticed it didnt quite have that "oomf" anymore. It was getting a little tired, maybe a bit worn out. So I went and bought some brand new duracell batteries for it (no cheap off brand shit, the real deal). These perked it up a bit. And then it happened. About a week ago my brush died. I mean, no movement whatsoever. I tried to continue using it without power, but honestly, it was like petting a dead dog. So today I broke down and went to Target to get a new one. ...Holy cow! this must be the new big product of the year. Reach has one, so does Braun, and several other toothbrush manufacturers. There were like 10 different varieties to choose from but I went straight for the Crest. Well now there's a Crest Spinbrush PRO, that not only spins, but also moves up and down! (yes, Im still talking about a toothbrush...) Oh what joy! So I've brushed my teeth twice already this evening, and probabbly one more time before I go to bed. I kept the original Spinbrush tho, I can't bring myself to throw it in the trash, so now its got a friend.

Dag! Mine died to, one day I went to brush and low and behold the damn thing would'nt come on anymore I tried changing the batteries, thought too much water got into it. I usually have a bad habit of breaking things not on purpose though, it made my teeth feel sooo good too, I'll just get the new one. I miss it though. I'm just a junky for the sound.
