i'm broke Okay, so here's the story.
I've been going to school these past few years, and as such have only been able to work part-time since I started. Obviously that's been a huge blow to my income. But on top of that, I've had a couple semesters in a row of my student loan money not showing up even close to on time to pay tuition, so school fees and textbooks had to go on my credit card. Those of you who've gone to school yourselves, I don't need to tell what a massive chunk of credit that takes. So now I'm broke and in a disturbing amoutn of debt for someone my age, and am not going to have enough to even pay rent and the phone bill this month without having to borrow money -again -from my cards to cover it, and that's with my roommate already having ponied up his share. I can't start a second job until the 18th, but I've started applying already since even entry level jobs are so short these days. Does anyone have any ideas for ways I could boost my income a little? I know that this idea isn't for everybody and whether or not it's even feasible depends on where you live and other factors, but when I was in college a few people I knew made considerable extra money, sometimes over $2000 at a time, doing clinical studies.
Some of the studies that require an overnight stay or two or followup visits can pay really well. [Edited 3/27/09 17:29pm] | |
