You know what?

Stop your bitchin' and moanin' M!! You are EXACTLY the kinda dude i would luuuuuv to invite out at home in America (with wifey and kiddie of course) making ,well, I guess you could say anthropological tours in different regions of the country so you could see how reeeeallly fucked up race relations can be my country
razz ...it's not everywhere, or in every small pocket of every small town, but it exists throughout our races in the US...and until we all get real over there about past hurts, wrongdoings, and a bunch of weird endemic, systematic, institutional bullshit regarding race (as well as retaliations)....well...we're always going to remain on the same merry-go-round over there about this subject and not have healthy closure on it.

I know it sounds all peace luvin' hippie-tree-hugger, but yep...I think (if we ever met) we could have a grand old time checking out some interesting pockets of the US that resemble the Twighlight Zone regarding race relations...I just know in the end you'd be like

"Oh Damn, this entire country really IS fucked up" eek

To which your org friends might reply;

Unfinished thought on my part too.

I never said it was exaggerating, not once, however what i have said is that the obsession with black and white continues to draw the line and perpetuates the issue. However that will never change.....ever.

What does his being white have to do with anything? He needed it explained because he was not part of the culture/age group that would understand or have had experience.
Are there white folk that get the phrase? Yes of course, so skin colour is not the line..... hmm

I am a firm believer in starting inside of onesself, but it appears the general feeling is "educate everyone else and i can carry on being a dick" (generally) That way in excuses all sorts of racist agendas and ideal because there are so many reasons why it is "ok".

Then why do you so often feel the need to comment on the way others perceive and talk about race when the discussion doesn't concern you?

I am human, part of the human race. Of course it affects me. My opinion is my opinion and i have every right to express it. Race relations affect everyone and this dumb ass fucking line as usual is starting to influence relations here too because stupid ass kids wanna be just like their idols in the states and so the line is extending and society as a whole is suffering, so yes....it fucking affects me when i start getting abused for being white 2 streets from my office or i get intimidated by some dumb ass wanna be gangsta assholes for doing nothing more that being white.

I made no comment on how others "feel", everyone is entitled to their emotional response. My comment was simply about the un required and superfluous referral to the guys colour as some factor in his not understanding.
