Vitamins

Does anyone here take vitamins? and if so where do you get your vitamins from. I have been feeling a little stupid lately, because I have always been an excellent speller, and my memory has always been sharp, but lately I find myself questioning some of the things that I spell, and it really upsets me. I heard that this might be due to a lack of vitamin B. So if this is true I would like to get some really good vitamin B,and I know that I won't find that in places like Walmart.

My memory is shite as well,,,but i blame it on old age. sad

i read that ginsing helps. there are specific pills you can buy for memory as well. Go to any large pharmacy...yes walmart is fine.

I take a multi...vitamin D....Iron (i am low) ..Multi-B vitamin & Calcium/magnesium since i dont drink alot of milk..also lack of magnesium can cause muscle cramps.

you could always do some brain teaser puzzles on-line to stay sharp. smile

first thing you should do is go to your MD and let him/her
test you for any dificiency in vitamins.

it's a simple test and the results will be back in one or
two days.

then you can ask them for advice on how to balance yourself
out responsibly.

taking vitamins seems very easy to do on your own but you
have to look up what to take and when and in what amounts.

taking a certain vitamin in a high dose may deplete certain
minerals from your body or other vitamins. so make sure you
check out everything and don't just do a google search on
the benefits of a particular vitamin.

having said that i've been getting intra-muscular shots of
B12 twice a week for a few months now (balanced out with a
whole array of meds and vits/min/oils etc for a specific
medical condition i have) and the B12 shots make me feel
like i'm 17 again both mentally and physically.

I am thinking of making a doctors appt anyway, cause aside from the "feeling stupid",I also have been really tired even though I am getting 8 hours sleep, and I simply have no motivation to really want to do much of anything. I am just not feeling like myself,so even though I hate going,I hate feeling this way even more. Thanks for the advice! biggrin

I have just started to take Bio-Quinone Q10 Gold and Rhodiola Rosea, its supposed to help maintain and support energy metabolism, heart, muscle and immune system function, I was recommended it by a nutritionalist as I have been feeling verey tired from all the exercise I do. Its what the athletes take not that I'm an athlete but I do go to the gym a lot to do cardio and weights.

They probably absorb into your system better than the pill type.

vitamin B enemas are the best way to get all,

in fact an enema infused with gatorade is quite common among athletes.
