This is actually a speed control device that is in use. Scroll down and look at all three pictures. And it is much cheaper than speed cameras.

But that could cause accidents if people react by slamming on their brakes or swerving to avoid them!

But once people are onto it, it won't work anymore.
And I thought this was about speed traps police set up to catch you,
how I handle them is I set my cruise-control to the speed limit where I know they lie in wait so I don't get in trouble.

Given the fact that a marketing phrase is plastered all over the road "feels like pioneer suspension" i would suggest that instead of being a speed trap idea this was a clever marketing idea. Looks like a huge hole but i felt nothing sooooo "feels like pioneer suspension"
