The science behind astrology may have its roots in astronomy but don’t confuse these two disciplines. Thx Mach   It's called Procession. The earth wobbles on it's axis and as it moves through the universe it changes it's tilt every so slightly over the course of time. I believe the full cycle takes 26,000 years to complete. When the traditional zodiac was set it was for a time a couple thousand years ago. Those are the dates we know, but because of Procession the sun no longer stays in those signs on those dates. Ophiuchus, the snake bearer, is the 13th Constellation in the belt of Constellations we know as the Zodiac. However some point in antiquity he was dropped no one knows why. I don't necessarily go for this. This new chart would fully list me as a Pisces, who are known to be sort of flaky and a bunch of daydreamers while Aries are impatient, impulsive, quick to anger (but also quick to forgive and forget), emotionally transparent, and highly sexual. Those latter traits describe me more than the Pisces traits. But then again, traditional astrologers also take in your rising sign and your moon sign along with your sun (birth) sign to determine your true personality
