Recomendations?

Need one that is best suited for texting and has a nice bright screen. I don't care about music and all that crap.

I'm really hard on phones...the last few have been washed, crushed, one was dropped into a bucket of paint...so, it doesn't make much sense for me to get a pricey/gadgety phone...I've gone back to the ol' standyby Motorola Razr...
