Never have I felt worse in my entire life! Thank God it's over now (I think). Any suggestions for what I should do to make sure to recover quickly?

LIQUIDS, lots and lots of liquids. You are probably severly dehydrated now!

Once it's over, it's over. Get the fluids back that you lost. Electrolytes are key, Gatorade, etc...

Food poisoning is the worse! I had it once. A couple years ago my husband's boss gave him 2 tickets to a Pacer game. It happen to be my Birthday. Because my husband and daughter love basketball more then me I drooped them off at the game and thought I would have a nice peaceful dinner by myself. Later I found out I made a huge mistake!!!

Thanks for the advice, guys! I've been drinking liquids like nobody's business. I could only manage to eat a little bit of ice cream though. Crackers just didn't look too appetizing.

I had food poisoning back in the 80's... as a result of a visit 2 a very popular fast food restaurant. I thought I was gonna die. I was probably 'round 19 or so, and had 2 go 2 the emergency room 2xs... IV's, the "runs"..etc. oh, god it was horrible.

After all was said and done, I sued the FF place and years later... over like 3 years... they settled 4 a little over $500 bucks... I should have held out.

It was horrible.

I feel 4 u, Moonbeam... hope u take these peeps advice and get ur ass on some liquids...

My main word of advice... sue those mother fuckers...and make the doctor take a fucking stool sample... it'll clinch ur case. Sadly, I did not know... so all my shit went down the drain!!!

Food poisoning sucks ass. Unfortunately, I have had food poisoning on two occasions and there is nothing you can really do, other than drink a lot of water and things like Gatorade to re-hydrate and restore electrolytes.

If you drink too many sugary things it may cause some fermentation in your intestines and that will be cause for more cramping.

Food poisoning Awful awful awful. You need to get the electrolytes back in your system. Get a supply of Gatorade and you should feel better in no time!

You guys are the best! I got a full 12 hours of sleep last night. I feel much better, although my stomach really hurts, although I think it is from hunger. I'm about to go stock up on Gatorade. Anything has to taste better than bile.
