OMG!

I went to An Evening with Carol Burnett tonight. She was soooo sweet and amazing. All her stories were hilarious. She showed clips of the show and answered lots of questions from the audience. Someone even mentioned her appearance on Law and Order last week. She was so good in that.

She showed a clip of her and the Carpenters singing "Do You Know The Way To San Jose". Everybody went insane. For those of you who don't know, that's where I live.

She did her trademark Tarzan yell as well as the closing song she used to do on her show.

I got really emotional. For some reason The Carol Burnett show and Laverne and Shirley were two shows that my Dad, Mom and I could enjoy together. We connected while watching those shows.

Carol Burnett is an American Treasure.

She's one of my top Funny Ladies. Carol Burnett, Bette Midler, Lucille Ball, Jennifer Saunders....lots of reds (well at one time or another).

She's always been Great. Extremely funny. She was GREAT on LAW and ORDER such a COOL ROLE she played. I loved her skits with Tim Conway and Harvey Korman and Carol Lawrence. Very Funny... Amazing to learn that LUCILLE BALL was a GREAT FAN/FRIEND and sent her Flowers every Birthday.

K jennifer suanders can't be an american treasure. N its actually vicki lawrence, not carol.

PBS had a special on her recently and it was really interesting.

i fucking hate jerry lewis, never really liked him, but a few years ago he popped off with a comment about how women are never funny. carol is way WAY funnier than that pathetic ass could ever dream of being, among many other women.

Love her!! I use to love watching her as a child, she cracked me up!

I absolutely adore her. I wish I could have gone to that show I am happy for you that you went and enjoyed it so much.

She and Lucy are my faves.

Fucking HILARIOUS. Her show was a highlight of my youth. It def. helped shape my sense of humor and my comedy.

she is a classic...she always surrounded herself with great people too...I wish there were shows like that today, something I could let my kids watch and not worry....both of my children love reruns of Mamas Family...

Such a great lady...a legend in comedy and in show business. Glad you got to see her, Miguel! I'm jealous. Her show was huge while I was growing up.
