I think the Native Americans believe seeing an eagle is a sign of good luck, or someone watching over you. I'm not sure if I believe all that but it's a nice thought and maybe you are extra lucky since it almost killed you and all.

And I think seeing an owl is a sign of death. I'm gonna look it up now.

Riding alongside trains or being at a train crossing when they pass...I always freak out that they're going to last forever and there's no way to get to the other side
