I think in most cases you DO get what you pay for so I’m not expecting the quality to be the highest available.

I’ve never had an issue with what I’ve bought there, though, and I like the stylish affordable-ness of it.

The curtain panels and their bold printed fabric are pretty cool.

I like the wool rugs too.

AAAAND

They do offer those closet units, which are not cheap by any means, cost-wise or construction. The same brand that is sold at the Container Store.

but thats all the good i can say about them.

the rest is nice for college students/newlyweds or someone who is throwing some sort of party.

I would differ to someone else on the lighting as my experience has been its difficult to hard wire the lighting and anything glass seems break easily, as its likely not tempered glass.

Currently in our home:
-Living room Wall Unit (over 10 years old)
-Dining room chairs (they're actually desk chairs we combined with our vintage solid wood dining table)
-Kitchen cabinets
-tv stand in my studio
-Office (desks/bookcases/chairs)
-pair of accent table lamps (over 10 years old)

Did I leave anything out? hmmm

my usual rule for furnishing is,
if I tire or become bored with it, i need to be able to get my money back from what i spent on it.

this is what Ikea stuff reminds me of:

i just picked all of that up for 40 bucks, its american made but designed by some Italian. And its 30 sum years old and virtually looks like new. The only wear is on the metal part of the table, spider webbing/some light scratches smile
