It's worth a try, though! |

I just woke up from this strange dream.
People were discussing hair products at the org, can you believe that?

Biosilk is awesome. I put a little in my hair before I blow dry it, it feels soft and silky. Love it!

Have used nothing else for a yr now and LOVE IT !! I have yet to try these.... but I recently bought the new line of Dove shampoos and conditioners.... hands down the best shampoo I have used. I was shocked. I have curly hair that I press n curl to straighten which causes excessive damage. The Dove shampoos have my hair behaving! Better than any professional product I've tried, and I worked in a hair salon for about 4 years, I have tried just about every product for dry/frizzy/curly/damaged hair in the market. I haven't tried the Wen products though... that might be my next step. BTW... I also make my own deep moisturizing conditioner. I use peppermint and coconut oils as a base.

I used Biosilk and frizzease/John Frieda products (equal to Bed Head).... they suck. Nexus, Aphogee , Mizani, Affirm, Biolage, etc. products are all better for dry hair.

I still love Aveda the best, and Aphogee for deep conditioning. I gotta try those Wen products.

I've been using the Kenra Platinum series. I'm trying to preserve my hair color. I'm not sure if it's working. I think I just need to come to the conclusion that red fades. Shake it til ya make it

I use the Matrix Biolage shampoo and conditioner. A bit pricey, but I like it. Plus, it smells really good too. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I've just discovered Ojon since I am trying to grow my hair long again. I don't want to just have long hair, I want to have hair that turns heads and makes people envious. Not in a Carrot Top kind of way though....
From their website: A unique, highly-concentrated hair and scalp treatment made with wildcrafted Ojon® oil - the same rare oil used for over 500 years by the Tawira Indians of Central America, known as "the people of beautiful hair". Clinical studies confirm that Ojon® Restorative Hair Treatment: • Instantly helps hydrate, strengthen and restore dry, damaged hair when used with Ultra Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner • Leaves hair extraordinarily soft, silky and manageable Other benefits: • Contains Omega-3, 6 and 9 essential fatty acids* • Highly concentrated so a little goes a long way • Contains no water or silicones that can dilute the formula and cause build-up on the hair • 99% Natural • Formulated without preservatives and colors * Omega-3 fatty acids are essential components for normal human growth and development. Omega-6 fatty acids are essential components of skin’s structure. They are expensive, but I am starting to believe I am "worth it" and recommend the stuff. It has a nice chocolatey-coffee scent too. After all, the "People of Beautiful Hair" seemed to like it...

Only shampoo, conditioner and conditioning treatment is all my hair needs, it's past waist length so long hair just needs good nutrition, which is derived from a healthy diet, including silica which is found in Fiji Artesian water. I drink 2 litres of it per day, so this along with good quality hair products is essential. I refuse to use that leave in stuff and don't colour my hair because later in the future I will need to when I start going grey. No point in adding unecessary damage now. Due to all this I only need to cut my hair once or maybe twice a year, about an inch at a time.
Brands I use are: Lendan Care Series With Brazil Nut Oil DeLorenzo Rejuven8 John Frieda Brilliant Brunette

Your really have beautiful hair. I heard that fenugreek seeds are also supposed to be good for your hair. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

I never use any vitamin supplements that come in the form of a pill. Apart from that I also include Goji juice (must be 100%) in my daily diet. I drink it either with my freshly squeezed apple, carrot and orange juice or undiluted as a shot. It originates from the himalayan mountains and does not contain any added sugar, artificial sweeteners, artificial colours or flavours and Goji is the only plant that has the unique polysaccharides. Basically overall well being promotes good nail and hair growth and keeps the skin tight. Other benefits of Goji are: Selenium and Germanium: These are well-known anti-cancer agents. Beta Sitosterol: This anti-inflammatory agent has been found to lower cholesterol, and has been used to treat impotence and prostate enlargement. Zeaxanthin and Lutine: Have been known to protect the eyes. Betaine: Produces Choline in the liver, which helps detoxification processes there. It is also known to protect DNA, enhance memory, encourage muscle growth and protect against fatty liver disease. Cyperone: Used in treatment of cervical cancer. Known to benefit blood pressure, heart and menstruation problems. Solavetivone: An anti-bacterial and anti-fungal agent. Physalin: A compound known to boost the immune system. Also found effective in treating leukemia, cancer and hepatitis B.
