What is it like? Do you have to be a brilliant musician to excel? I'm okay but not great though I've been into music for as long as I can remember, but somewhere I slowed down though I'm still passionate about it and feel like it's my destiny to do something related to music.

I don't think you would have to be a music genius to be a music therapist. I was interested in doing that at one time. Knowing the basics of music and learning to play guitar would be a good start. I know you mentioned that you're not great, but having compassion for other people and the love of music are the two main things to have.
