the deposition i mean?

mine was last week..... that shit lasted for 4 and 1/2 HOURS!!!!!


my mind was jello - literally - when i was done. i came home and calmed down, had something to eat and then slept for 12 hours

but in the end, the lawyer said i did a really good job and actually that i did better than he thought i would, so that makes me very happy


if you havent gone yet, just know that its not really what we see on TV, but it is pretty stressful and at least in my case they DO try to twist what you say - the most common way they did it was to continue to ask me the same damn questions over and over, just worded slightly different. or, they would repeat my answers and say something like "so, it is your testomony then that...." making you feel like you may have said something wrong along the way.

either way, get some good sleep and dont let them fuck with your head - afterall, at this point, whoever messes with the others head the most - wins, right?

Oh yeah! They repeat questions AD NAUSEUM to try to get you to trip up.

There were many times when I was in court as the evidence tech that the defense attorney would ask a me a question so many times! They'd try to subtly change their wording to try to trip me up and finally the judge would have to step in and say, "She has adequately answered that question. Move on."

It's nerve racking!
