buying a new pc-advice please

hi folks. OK-I need a new pc if i'm to use the new Prince site. I was fighting the urge to spend-but really I cant manage anymore on a pentium II with 64 meg of ram (!!!!) and win 98 second edition. I do have another very good pc-but thats solely for recording my music on-and I dont wanna hook anyhthing else up to her-especially the net. I'd loose way too much work if anything went wrong. I have been looking around-and i can get a decennt deal on this.....

Packard Bell iMedia D2317 - Dual-Core PC with 2GB memory and 19" display

so-my question is-will this be ok for the new site-as currently my browser closes itself if i even say lotusflower-let alone go near the keyboard. Thanks in advance.
PS-sorry 2 bbe cheeky but speed is of the essence-I only have a week or so to get it delivered and stuff

My advice is why buy a new pc when you have a good one, decent av and a firewall and you are safe as fuck, just do that.....maybe bang a bunch of ram in it but no need to buy a new pc.
My second advice is that if you are buying this just for lotusclusterfuck or whatever it is called.....get off the PC and go smell some real flowers outside wink

but even when I|got my audio pc-they said only use it for recording. I went to an audio specialist for it. I appreciate your advice though so will get a tech to come round and see what needs doing-though if im absoloutley honest-I dont want to mess with that pc. It has a couple of big soundcards-Cubase, Logic, Reason, tone of plug ins, mastering stuff-I wouldn't know where to start so would deffo need a professional to look at her.

That pc i mentioned-is only nine quid a month for four years or pay just over £350 in 6 months. Lol even I can stretch to that-but as i said I will look into that-and thanks wink

on a mac you just simply utter the words,
'how much ram do i have?'
and it replies in a pleasant voice of your choosing the answer to your question
