to me the word implies that someone actively targets a married person and does not relent until he/she is successful. even with this a marriage can not be sullied unless the person lets it happen. i'm not absolving anyone of making poor choices by getting involved in such messes but
i abhor the notion that it's "her" fault.

No, I wasn't lied to. I knew they were married. One of them was a serious x-bf and the other was someone that I had known for years and was involved with casually before they met their wife.

Both situations dealt with their wives being unfaithful before they strayed themselves.

So their home was 'wrecked' before I got involved.

One is now divorced and I now have a casual relationship with him again and the other one worked it out with his wife (as much has he could work it out, I guess).

I never wanted to be with either one of them so it was not like I was wanting to replace their wives or was thinking we would be together eventually.

I'm no victim either.

What kills me are some of the church folk that talk about how
