I'm not a hypocrite - I'm morally conflicted.

I think that "hypocrite" is a charge you can only level at others. If you admit your own hypocrisies, it sort of cancels it out; like Catholic Confession.

On paper, my views are black & white, but in day-to-day life, I have to succumb to swimming through the ocean of grey between us all, just to stay sane.

I am a hypocrite in that I make mistakes that I know better.

I can't give specific examples because they are so many.

But I just catch myself making mistakes..

I just think it's part of life when we can see maybe ohers making mistakes, but then we have a hard time seeing how we do the same thing. We rationalize(?) our hypocrisy...or at least I do.

But definitely, I am a hypocrite.

As for myself, I believe we all have our hypocritical moments. How many times do guys judge a woman's appearance when we look like slobs half of the time ourselves? And I can't forget about one parent I knew growing up who didn't want their kids swearing or cussing. "If those goddamn little shit assholes don't stop their fucking swearing, I swear I'll take those little shits and wash their mutherfucking mouths off with soap and beat their asses afterward."
