So, tonight was my first running class.

I went!

And I kept up! (I was totally not the slowest or most out of shape person in class.)

And I didn't fall down or have a heart attack or anything!

I'm gonna be a runner by the summer. woot!

Do you smoke?

I started running last year for the first time in 10 years. I started too hard for my first run and ran for 6 miles. I couldn't walk for 4 days afterwards. smile

Well worth it - keep it up.

I quit in August. I'm 7 months smoke free. smile

And thanks!

Yay Carrie!!!

I bought some last night after class! I tried on about 6 or 7 pair of shoes.

They are Nike+ and I think they're ugly. lol In general I think most athletic shoes are yucky. But I felt like I was running on pillows when I tried them out, so I coughed up the money.

They're mostly white with a red swoosh and some white and grey detailing.

Excellent! I'm glad you got some good high quality shoes. Bad shoes will make your form bad and make you not want to run at all

No, not at all. I can feel it a bit in my knees now that you mention it, but I didn't when I was running.

My ankle was a bit sore (I sprained it a week and a half ago) but only towards the end. I wore a brace on it.

I'm actually excited to continue my training. Yay!

Running is awesome. And very addicting. nod lol Once you start doing it, it's actually very easy to keep it up and do it regularly. woot!
