My art is being raped. Here's the story...
For the past month I've been getting ready for a national design competition. I'm 99% finished with my work, and my instructor has had anything to say during the whole process. She gave me complete creative control. So now that I'm almost finished she wants me to go back and move shit around, and she's getting on my computer without me knowing and just fucking shit up. Then she has some guy who teaches another class or something come talk to me about what else I should do, when he's never even had anything to do with the competition. I am sorely aggrivated. She's trying to kill me. People always wanna fuck my art up. Shit. Discuss. | |

She assured me that the design was all up to me, and now she's pulling in teachers from other classes and shit telling me to do shit and re-do shit I completed on it a month ago. Frustrating. | |

That's the best thing I've learned in my 4 years in art school. It does help the creative process (that is, if they're NOT meddling in your work, which is unprofessional and just wrong  ) but it helps even more to put on a brave face, be like "yeah i can see that, thanks, i'll look into it"
and go and do what you set out to do anyway there's nothing they can say in the end especially if it's a competition, she should compete it she's so all about it criteria will always be subjective if we're talking about the arts her meddling in no way helps the situation and she needs to realize that damn, reminds me of a prof i'm dealing with now
