Walt Disney

was/still is a pish stained old racist who has flooded the world with low grade 'entertainment' for years.

I'd love to pull the plug on the cryogenically frozen heeded old fanny.

That High School Musical pish - if I had went to that high school I'd have kicked the living shit out every guy in the place.

robin hood the cartoon was alright though

I just watched a documentary called RiP: A Re-mix Manifesto that really took apart Walt Disney. He was kind of a rip-off artist in that his first Mickey Mouse cartoon "Steamboat Willie" was a direct copy of a live-action film called "Steamboat Bill". Fantasia was a rip-off of Faust and he did a cartoon King Kong and on and on.

The point of the documentary was to prove that new art always has built on old art, and to try to patent ideas as "intellectual property" (like the Disney Company is doing now) will only stifle new art.

If you can find RiP: A Re-mix Manifesto in your video store, I highly recommend it. It's a great film.

And they're still doing it

The Lion King was a rip of Japanese anime series Kimba The White Lion
