The page in the link wouldn't load for me but, I do believe that is true of baby products,
they are made with chemicals just as all other products are made with some sort of chemicals in them.

I honestly didn't read the article but there was some commotion here about chemicals used in the plastic made for baby bottles but to be honest I can't see how plastic would "shed" enough for it to even matter. BUT... it shouldn't be there regardless.
