whose fault is it?
we have miley cyrus and that high school musical chick getting their nekkid/sexy cell phone pics leaked to the media, and they're supposed to be good, wholesome role models for young girls. then on top of that, we have reality television, especially the crap on MTV, showing kids acting whatever which way they wanna act and getting naked whenever they get the opportunity. we live in a culture of exhibitionism, because there are just way too many ways for people to show off and it's just as easy these days to flash your naughty bits on a screen as it is for being noticed for having any real talent or substance.

All the while forgetting that their parents did the exact same thing over what we were doing. I'm sorry but that clip is AWESOME! 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

It's so great because if you notice coming back and standing after spinning the second time she looks like she just had a fresh cry because, well, she just did. 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

Why the hell are kids being held to this higher standard when adults are admitting that they do it as well?
You don't surround kids in a world of adults doing this or that and then tell them 'do as I say, not as I do". When did that ever work? Oh ya, never.

I'm behind the times! I need to get a texting plan so I can get racy texts....but only from those of legal age "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

No need to apologize for that statement. It's right on the mark. Shoo...I'm in my 40s. And if my mom found out that I had sent naked pictures - even to the man I've been with for 17 years - she'd call me a slut and take away my phone. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
