Did Anyone See The "BumFights" Videos? I'd never heard of them until the news picked up the story not 2 long ago, when a "bum" in the movie was injured enough 2 b taken 2 the hospital during filming.
I know these college kids had been paying these bums 2 fight while they filmed it on video. They would then create these cassettes and sell them online 4 $19.99 or something like that. Apparently, they made millions. Now the injured bum is filing a lawsuit against the young lads 4 millions... Gloria Allred is probably representing him...

moderatorNo, after seeing the bums on the news, I had NO desire to see any more of them.
That dude that had "BUMFIGHTS" tatooed on his forehead - I'm sorry, but it makes me laugh everytime I think of him. He looked so pissed in the newstory I saw. I guess I would be, too, if I woke up after a multi-day drunk, looked in the mirror, and saw "BUMFIGHTS" tatooed on my forehead... | |

yes...i did...and it's truly awful...
..why? morbid curiosity i guess...but it's wrong...wrong wrong wrong...and almost impossible to watch...if there's a hell below the people behind it gonna go... 
oh, yeh..i'm guilty too, for giving them my money...before anybody points that out to me...

When I saw the news with this "bum" being interviewed, with the words "BUMFIGHTS" tatooed all over his forehead, I was disgusted. Who were these people with no heart who subjected these poor guys 2 all this physical pain 4 comedy and morbid curiosity?
Now don't get me wrong... there's nothing wrong with folks who fight professionally, but they know what they're getting in2! These bums are dillusional, they have no idea that they're being used 4 other people's entertainment... it's all very sad. I truly don't think I could have watched it... and I'm not trying 2 b "holier than thou" either... just spillin' out the truth. ps. thanks rio 4 ur honesty. I don't think anyone here is going 2 judge u.  |
