just a fun kid's book i picked up last week. it's kinda like coraline, only the main character is a boy instead of a girl and the story is more sci-fi than magic/witchery. the writing is very cute. i would have loved this book when i was a kid.

I was very horrified to find that MTV studios had a hand in the movie, and I was right to be scared because in some very basic ways they did not stay true to the book and it is irritating.

Hannah's Gift by Maria Housden- i've made friends with this NY author, and I can see the tale, being a true one about her 3 year old daughter who died of cancer is going to be a tear jerker!
