No More Good Food for Me!

I'm officially old, and can no longer eat any food that has flavor.

For the first time in my life I'm suffering BS like heartburn & acid reflux.

All I have to do is cut out coffee, coke, altoids, chocolate, fried foods, cheese, orange juice, Indian food, salsa, eggs...

I'm not even overweight. How can God punish the thin like this?!!

Seriously you are not that old, so I don't think it's the age. You are younger than me I think.
With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....

Try enzymes, they help.
I go easy on certain foods and have had to change eating habits, but when I do have problems, I take this.

Some people like it so they can pig-out and eat more.

I don't want to scare you sad my friend has this, and he is a doctor. If you have severe reflux, what can you do to prevent it?

That's okay. Just means that it's time to start cooking and eating foods with fresh herbs, olive oils, citrus juices and so on. Your tummy will thank you for it eventually and you'll get accustmoned to having a more natural flavor boost. nod

Doesn't yoghurt help with stuff like this? And some herbal teas.

I'm obese and yet I don't suffer from heartburn. nana

Of course, I don't partake of most of what you listed either. lol

Me too, but for some reason I am getting heartburn now. Maybe I'm not really thin but have tight skin that is squeezing the contents of my stomach back into my throat hmmm

You're beautiful, that's like thin for the face! lol I keed I keed!

No, I only said that because one of the main risk factors for acid reflux is weight gain/obesity. But not the only one, I am learning.

Oh no! I wish I was as small as you. YOU HAVE CHEEKBONES! I don't have sharp features like that. Your face is like a diamond, bro! Rough cuts and sharp edges with a gleam of esteem. DAMN! You're lean! I'm jellin'! But that last sentence was kind of gross. I don't think it's the latter. Perhaps it's just a few bodily dysfunctions.

hmmm I may have to look into those. I feel like maybe I should change my eating habits a bit, but since that is damn near impossible....

I used to love yogurt, but it is really gross to me now. Maybe I could try some acidopholis.

You flatterer. lol

I'd never heard that it was a cause before.

As for the eating habits, can you try moderation at first? Be aware of your specific triggers and ensure you're not piling them on top of each other? Like by eating fried cheese with a coke and a bar of chocolate for dessert? lol

mmm drool

yeah I think a big part is eating big meals, rather than small servings. Also a walk after lunch might be nice instead of sitting here all day.

I hear you.

For the past 2 years I've started to get heartburn. I get it, so far, only from coffee in the morning. It's horrible.

It's something that has popped up a couple times lately. I got careful about my food and it went away, but popped up again.

I am due for a doctor visit, tho...
