Anyone a fan of this author? I've been getting pretty bored pretty quickly with most of the stuff I've picked up lately, to the point where I've got 3 books started and I'm stuck about 100 pages into all of them with no real interest in finishing.

I saw that Christopher Moore has a new book out, called "Fool" so I did some research into his work (okay, just Wikipedia), and I'm tempted. A lot of it sort of reminded me of Neil Gaiman's prose style.

Can someone tell me ... are you a fan? What is the tone of his work like? Do I need to read his books chronologically (I saw that there is some character crossover)?

If you've read him, sell me on him. I need a new direction.
