  • MARILYN MONROE love her movies! she always wanted 2 b taken as a serious/good actress. she already was cool, but could have went further, like cher did. her sex goddess image wasnt her cup of tea, as good as she was at it. the affairs with the kennedy men did her in. she really loved THEM. they used HER. whether she ended her life herself or someone did it 4 her still remains a mystery. she had lots of issues to resolve. very troubled.
  • JAMES DEAN definately a gifted actor who was going places. very wreckless though.
  • JIMI HENDRIX very talented musician that just got started too, and whose life was snuffed out by the drugs of the overly zealous 60's.
  • JANIS JOPLIN
  • ELVIS PRESLEY
  • MARVIN GAYE
  • JFK JR. he WAS considering an acting career. but even as a politician, (and he WOULD have been president IF he ever ran) he would have excelled. great loss! the kennedy men seem to have a death sentence hanging over them. IMHO, he was the best of the batch.

I would definitely have to go with Robert Johnson. He was the REAL king of Rock-n-Roll (or Blues, take your pick)

Oh yeah, and Hillel Slovak, the original guitarist of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. He started the whole Rock/Funk/Metal/Rap fuson that countless numbers of bands use today. A totally underrated guitarist he was. It's a good thing John Frusciante is carrying his torch now.

First of all, every death is a tradgedy, and a lot of potential was lost there, wich is a shame. However, 80% of the above list includes death thru drug abuse, hate preaching, irresponsible driving, ... There4, their death was a result of the life style they chose. I think that those who died bcause of disease or bcause of events they could not help, r a much greater loss.
