Also, my hat goes off to Melissa. What a great, great woman. She was EXACTLY RIGHT when she said he was a wimp that wouldn't fight for her. I hope she finds a real man, because she is a real woman.

Molly's pretty sharp, too. She knows what time it is. The first thing she asked about was Melissa, because she figured out in a nanosecond what happened.

LOL! I watched it...I knew he picked the wrong girl! I must be the only one who gives him credit for breaking it off...why would he fight for something he don't want? he obviously KNOWS how he does and does NOT feel about melissa....but same thing could happen with molly. alright, first of all, i have a problem with the fact that about the 4th or 5th show i think it was, they showed a clip of deanna coming back to visit jason - however, they also showed like 5 or 6 of the girls talking about how it really upset them that she was there. they were all around the pool saying things like, i am really nervous because she could really still have feelings for him and what if he really cares for her still as well? how can we compete with that? - something to that effect. but, when it aired, you can plainly see that there was noone else around and none of the women even talked about it. that looks fishy...

as far as what happened to poor melissa last night, i am so very sad for her! her poor heart was breaking right in front of everyone and i am SOOOOO glad that they didnt beep it out when she called him a bastard lol, he deserves to hear it all and really, if it were me i woulda punched him in the face to be honest!!! he is a total asshole and if anyone, ANYONE could answer me one question i would really appreciate it....

how the HELL does a man who has 25 women to choose, thats CHOOSE from end up in a situation like this???? hes the one who picked her, we didnt tell his dumb ass what to do.... and then, in true forum he changed his mind and went back to the other girl, are you kidding me????? rumors are that he has been cheating on melissa with molly almost from the beginning - those have been going around for quite sometime now.

I totally hear what your saying....BUT it's not as bad as you make it sound...it starts off with 25 women, but a bunch of them are cut the first or second night with out any kissing at all. and then another week goes by where he goes on these group dates and usually still no kissing when another group of women are cut....it's not till it's down to like 12 women or so when any kissing starts and even then it's only with a few. I know, I know...still kinda gross but...it's sure not a "tag team" It's still probably not something I'd have done in my younger days but....I can see the appeal I guess.

I think that show is ridiculous in that it perpetuates societal generalizations about what is (cliched) romantic and that a woman is not complete until she is married.

Secondly, I think DeAnna fucked it up by saying she made a mistake when she chose the "wild card" that was fun instead of choosing the safe one who would have been better for her in the long run. I think Jason wanted to choose Molly (the "wild card") but after hearing DeAnna say that he had doubts and decided to go with the "safe" choice, Melissa. So DeAnna basically fucked him over twice.

Thirdly, I think that Molly was a fool to take him back so quickly. She should have made him beg and sweat for it for awhile.

Before people start flaming me about being an apologist for Jason, remember that he is a single dad. Maybe he was soooo in love with Melissa when he proposed to her, but somewhere in between the taping of that episode and the reunion special where he eventually dumped her, he got some bad vibes about her. Maybe Melissa was genuinely in love with Jason but wasn't feeling anything towards his kid, and the kid probably told his daddy Jason that he didn't like her. That's not to say that she turned into some spiteful bitch; in fact we have no idea what went down between those episodes, but maybe Jason realized later that Melissa wasn't quite the right fit for his family situation. Having said that, he did come across as a tool and a wuss.

As for Molly, I think Jason still loves her, but I'm beginning to wonder whether Deanna may come between them and complicate matters further. At any rate, I think he needs to slow down and see where he stands with Molly in six months.

BTW, I only caught this Bachelor stuff secondhand; I was too busy watching 24 that night wondering how Jack Bauer was going to protect the female President from the genocidal General Juma of the fictional African nation of Sangala who staged an assault on the White House and took a bunch of hostages.

On Thursday's Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Bachelor's Melissa Rycroft speaks out for the first time about being dumped by Jason Mesnick on national television and how hurt she was when she found out he was dating runner-up Molly Malaney.

Rycroft says "it was pretty immediate" after the finale that Mesnick realized he didn't want to be with her.

"Once we got back, we both kind of sat in the real world, and we were talking about how [our relationship] was different," she says. "He kind of gave up, and I couldn't understand why at the time. Now I do - because I think there was someone else involved."

"And that is where my feelings of betrayal came in," she goes on. "I knew on the night After the Final Rose [aired], I wasn't getting dumped. We had already ended the relationship and that was mutual."

"I repeatedly asked him, 'Is Molly involved in anything?' And when they moved up the taping of After the Final Rose, I was going, 'Why did we move the taping up? What's going on?'"

"I asked Jason, 'Am I going to be blind-sided by anything? Is there anything you want to tell me?' And he said, 'No, gosh no.' And the second I went out on that stage, he goes, 'P.S. it is Molly.' And I went, 'Bastard!'"

Even though Mesnick initially denied he was dating Malaney, Rycroft says she had a feeling.

"Being a girl, you get that feeling," she says. "Anybody that's been cheated on, you know. And being a woman, I got that feeling, because he just backed away from me, and I knew he had contacted her."

"There had been at least one contact that I knew about, where he was 'checking on her,' and so it was just in the back of my mind. I would just casually ask, 'Are you talking to her? Have you talked to her? Tell me, just be honest.'"

"He kept saying no," Rycroft adds.

Rycroft says she and Mesnick exchanged e-mails "right after we filmed After the Final Rose."

"I instigated it ... and wish I hadn't," she says. "I felt like I needed to apologize for getting that angry with him, but at the same time, I said, 'I hope you know why I got that mad.' We weren't talking at that point, so it was my way off saying, 'This is my closure ... Don't reply back.'"

Asked if she could ever be friends with Mesnick or Malaney, Rycroft says, "No."

"Jason and Molly don't quite have the characteristics of [people] I would want to be friends with," she says. "On a level, they both did betray me. I understand it was a break-up, and I'm not mad about that. We all get broken up with, but to be lied to...."

Rycroft says she is moving on and is even dating a new guy named Ty (though she declined to reveal any more details).

"Because of the privacy and everything going on, we haven't really been able to explore a new relationship, but now that everything is over, I'm so excited," she says. "I've known him for two years and kind of done the dating on-and-off. He has been my biggest rock and supporter throughout this whole process. He's become my best friend."

The reality of a silly TV show.

I dunno why any of those fuckers participate on that show. I used to watch it just to laugh @ those crazy broads but now it's just creepy & dumb. So I watch other creepy/dumb reality shows instead!
