Of course, because the Lakers lost to us! wink

I don't like when the same team wins all the time. We had our glory last season and it's been nice. Time for someone else to step it up.

Except of course in football razz

Yeah you know the steelers got things on lock in football right now. lol
We're the champs. Tom Brady if you want some of the steelers"D",
come get it.
bringiton

Leave Tom alone! lol The Patriots are all beat up. Should be an interesting season. I hate the Steelers...their fans are SO obnoxious! wink

And really, I would rather see another NBA team win....and not the Lakers either! I like seeing the underdogs come from nowhere and winning it all. shrug

You didn't hear? The NFL has instituted the "Brady Rule". If the defender's on the ground, he can't go for the QB's legs and take him down, or it's a penalty. I think it's a dumb rule, but the NFL wants to protect QBs.

I'm all for protecting the QB, but this rule is bogus. Football is a cold, brutal, physical game, and injuries are a part of it. Why not put dresses on the players and get it over with?

As long as the starting QB are playing, order the dresses. The reality is, no wants 2 see the scrubs in at the most important position on the field. That is a FACT.

I can understand the league wanting to protect qb's from
serious knee injuries but if a d-lineman is on the ground
and the qb is still in the pocket is the d-lineman suppose
to sit there and do his damn taxes while a qb completes
a pass downfield. Football is a man's game if qb's can't
take honest clean hits then they shouldn't be on the field and
should be on the sideline with the cheerleaders in a skirt. mad
You want an example of a tough qb who takes a licking and keep
on ticking see "Big Ben"Roethlisberger. A world champion qb. wink

Knee injuries have NOTHING 2 do with being a man. Just being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

True but a d-lineman can't rollover and play dead while on the ground
in pursuit of a qb who is trying to make a play downfield because
if he does the coach may chew him out on the sideline and he may
take a seat next to the coach.

PREACH!!!!!

Imagine if the QB completes a game-winning TD because of this stupid rule.

The NBA has become a pussy league and the NFL's heading that way too.

They will adjust 2 the new rule, they always do. That said, just because it is a rule does not mean the injuries will go away or the same plays won't still happen. It is a part of the game.

Finally - the REAL NBA season is here - Let's Get it ON!!

Eastern Conference;
(1) Cavs vs. (8) Pistons

(2) Celtics vs. (7) Bulls

(3) Magic vs. (6) Sixers

(4) Hawks vs. (5) Heat

Western Conference;
(1) Lakers vs. (8) Jazz

(2) Nuggets vs. (7) Hornets

(3) Spurs vs. (6) Mavericks

(4) Blazers vs. (5) Rockets

I like the 3/6 and 4/5 match-ups in both conferences. Those could be long series.

Everyone's picking the Heat to beat my Hawks in the first round because they want to see Wade vs. Lebron. lol We're a better team than the Heat, no doubt, but we need to stop Wade going for the 35+ a night that might give them a shot.

AI! AI! AI! Um not that AI! Andre Iguodala

The sixers win! The sixers win! Hell yeah baby.
Coming back from 18 down. I don't expect them to win the
series but the magic weren't going to sweep them either.
Go sixers!
