Cutting your protein so you can eat more carbs is a terrible idea. Protein is not only needed by the mama - but is necessary to grow a baby.

I have been unable to eat meat the past 5 weeks anyways. Apart from the Sweet & Sour chicken that I have craved.

i think he was saying if you like donuts you can trade off a chicken leg from Lee's Famous Chicken and have a Crispy Cream instead.

say you eat 6 lee's Famous Chicken legs for lunch,
instead you can trade three of those for a Crispy Cream Donut
and you will get the same amount of nutrition.

instead of eating 6 Lee's Famous Chicken Legs
AND 3 Crispy Cream Donuts
then you will have too much nutrition for that one lunch

Nobody should eat any of that crap. lol

Let's see...if I swap this piece of crap for that piece of crap...will I be better or worse off?

At any rate, chicken - even fried - is a better choice than a doughnut. Doughnuts are totally empty. No nutrition, at all. Nothing but calories.

Hey, I love a good doughnut as much as the next person. And as an occasional treat, there is absolutely nothing wrong with having a doughnut.

I'm just saying that they should not be considered food. lol

Increase the percentage of raw fruits and veggies. I mean significantly (at least 50-70 percent of your diet).

Cut out all milk. Don't even bother drinking it. A major fallacy in thought is that it's good for you for vitamin D and calcium.

Dark green, leafy veggies give you as much calcium with no cholesterol or and little or no fat: http://www.youngwomenshea...leafy.html

Vitamin D can be derived from other sources, but the best one is sunlight. A 15 minute walk in the sun is better than any supplement you could take.

Here's a few myths behind milk: http://www.rense.com/gene.../truth.htm

I just drink lots of teas, white, green and blue, plus rooibos, nettle, yerba mate, dandelion, comfrey, and lemon balm. I also have a mixture of goji berries, sunflower, hemp, black sesame and pumpkin seeds that I put in yoghurt or on my Weetabix (that I'm eating with soy milk now as milk here screws my skin up).

What else? I have a tea mix to cleanse my face with after I've been out in town and feel grimy. I also occasionally sweat over a bowl of hot tea, as well as putting tea bags over my eyes and chilling out.

So lots of tea, plenty of oranges, apples, pineapples, mangoes and papaya, some fruit juice too, plus yoghurts, seeds, raisins and goji berries, some eggs, fish, steak, broccoli and kale, a bit of bread, some pasta with tomatoes and olives, and awesome noodle soups with liver, kidney and all kinds of good stuff most people seem to find repulsive. Oh, and plenty of garlic and a bit of hot chilli.

Those things make up probably 75 percent of my diet, the rest being stuff like pizza, french fries, meats on sticks and typical Thai food. I think that's pretty good. shrug

I have been enjoying fresh strawberries, red grapes and grapefruit salad. Craving sweet & sour things.
