Across The Pond:Life London

We've talked about Different United States destinations. Now let's go to Europe.
London't is Europe's kargest city. One of the world's for that matter. Known for it's subways, river, BigBen, The O2-MIllinium DOme, massive club scene, and Wembley stadium London is almost the cultural mecca of the world.

While New York is a megalopolis London is fast past. Has a far bigger music and concert scene than anything in America. Want to take a flight to Heathrow and explore it all. Then I'd take The CHunnel and explore Continental Europe Till thave to rely on you to tell me what goes on and off in The UK's capital.
Working up a purple sweat.

Y'all know how I feel about London and England in general.

I would definately live there, if I was rich.

I love London. I love UK in a general way, brits are amazingly warm and got this particular reveller side that frenchies lack ( sigh ). When I was 14 I toured UK and fell in love with those green lanscapes and genuine cities so full of history.

Regarding London, this urban sprawl is like no other. Like a bunch of microcosms in the big giant London universe. Amazingly enough you can't feel stifled there: contrary to many cities there's so many huuuuge parks and no mass buildings pilling up like in Paris.

I also dig this uncommon open-mindedness typical of cosmopolitanism.

The only flaw I could find is those unaffordable rents sad

Honestly I love New York and when i say New York i mean manhatten - I don't really know the suburbs. I would say London is the same, there is so much to do in the city that the outskirts get neglected. If I had to drw a quick comparison I would say London is New York with history, Paris with manners, Rome without pretence.

I love it, but it's too busy for me to cope with daily as I get older.
