This dude got blown away (drive-by) two doors down from my wife's office and she's kinda fed up with the whole random acts of violence bit. I totally agree and so we're getting our so-called ducks in a row to go back to Koeln (Cologne).

I have two little girls, how could I NOT visit Vienna... that's another reason why we'd like to head East... travel by train all the time, see REAL castles, be in different countries in a matter of hours and so on...

As for the better in Cologne part, I feel that with my dual-citizenship and bi-lingual skills I'm more marketable in Europe. Who needs a guy who speaks German in California = NOBODY!

It'll be awhile still gotta get all the stars aligned and such but we're thinking Karnaval 2010 would be a great excuse to drag the kids to Germany... permanently... biggrin

Is Germany a cheaper place to live than the UK? Maybe we will just go to Germany. I was looking forward to going to Cali to meet you guys.
