The dinners were fine and dandy, but I loved their fried ice cream the best. Applebee's Fried Bread Pudding. surviving on the thought of loving you, it's just like the water

No. My parents live near a shithole known as Sioux City, Iowa where Applebee's and the Olive Garden are fancy places to go. They always ask me if I want to go out to eat at one of them when I visit. No thanks. I live in New York, there is no need for me to go to a chain restaurant...the only ones I frequent are Chipotle and Hale & Hearty Soup.

That's the SAMETHING I told my sister when she told me to try it but after I did I got pretty damn hooked. And if you think that's fattening then I shouldn't mention the caramel sauce and french vanilla icecream it comes with. surviving on the thought of loving you, it's just like the water

None of the above. Why go to an overpriced chain restaurant when I can eat local and support my community?
Besides, there are no Red Lobsters in BC, even if I did have the inclination to eat there. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

I'm surprised any of these places are getting love on here.
My cousin used to work at Friday's and told us to NEVER EVER EAT THERE. At least at the location where she worked anyway. I ate at Applebee's once and got heartburn. I guess if I had to eat at one today, it would be Olive Garden. Not that great, but if you're hungry, you get a lot for your money.

The last time I ate at Red Lobster, I literally threw up in my mouth. The taste of that... chum, the smell of the place and the sight of some muscle shirt-wearing dude's armpits in a booth across the room (which could be rather hot in other contexts ) just sent my stomach into wrenching upheaval! It was humiliating. My wife and the waitress thought I was choking. I had to recover by closing my eyes, drinking lots of ice water and thinking of a damned Alpine landscape. I decided then that I don't belong in an eatery where I have to practice friggin' self-hypnosis to survive. This sounds like an outtake from "Frazier" for some reason. Niles.

I end up at places like this often because they are cheap, convenient, and neutrally acceptable
The food is not all that great, but you're moreso there for the company anyway Olive Garden is cool though. The salad bowl is delightful If you will, so will I
