Do You Go To Red Lobster, Applebees, Chillis, Friday or Olive Garden?s

I like them but at off hrs and Red Lobster is Overpriced for LOBSTERFEST. It's like 40 dollars and you can buy it at a Fancier restaurant or cook it yourself for less.

They seem to be the most POPULAR FAMILY RESTAURANTS on TV.

no no no no no and no no no.

ALTHOUGH

when i'm travelling and i'm in a small town with few options, i will do chili's if i have to because at least they have a vegetarian black bean burger. TGIFridays has *NO* veg friendly items on their menu. that's right: EVERY item on their menu has meat in it...EVERYTHING. i think they even squeeze a raw steak over glasses of soda before they serve them. i don't eat there. lol

i used to eat at olive garden when i was in high school, but the quality has gone way down over the years. that, or my standards have gone way up. or both. i still like their salad, but that's about it.

and red lobster is eww but their cheese biscuits are The Shit. nod

The one big chain restaurant I miss is CHI-CHIS.

The dinners were fine and dandy, but I loved their fried ice cream the best. drool

i don't remember red robin, i dunno what that is. long john silvers has good hush puppies, though i think the only fish joint i miss is ARTHUR TREACHERS FISH AND CHIPS, which i blame for getting me hooked on dousing food in malt vinegar.

I actually don't mind Olive Garden, though having been forced to eat better Italian for the past couple years (there are no Olive Gardens where I am currently), my tolerance is a bit stricter.

I'll do Fridays and Applebees if forced, but Red Lobster is the Ninth Circle of Hell shake. And I have no opinion on Chili's as I've never visited.

The last time I ate at Red Lobster, I literally threw up in my mouth. ill The taste of that... chum, the smell of the place and the sight of some muscle shirt-wearing dude's armpits in a booth across the room (which could be rather hot in other contexts lurking) just sent my stomach into wrenching upheaval! It was humiliating.

My wife and the waitress thought I was choking. I had to recover by closing my eyes, drinking lots of ice water and thinking of a damned Alpine landscape.

I decided then that I don't belong in an eatery where I have to practice friggin' self-hypnosis to survive. disbelief

These days I don't go to many sit down restaurants. I'm trying to adopt a healthier lifestyle (as I sit here downing my Mountain Dew) and I simply can't afford it anymore, I do love the OG and when I choose to go out to eat with a friend or my mom, we usually go there. I also like Applebees because they serve Pepsi products while none of the others do. Chillis has the best blooming onion, IMO. We no longer have a Fridays. I love Red Lobsters biscuits but don't really care for much else there.

Texas Roadhouse & Outback Steakhouse are also drool .

Chillis and Red Lobster.

Chili's has a nice beer selection and I love their Fajitas, Baby Back Ribs, and Chicken wangs. Red Lobster in a pinch.. when I'm out of town and I have a craving for seafood.

If I'm in Ohio with the family its usually Red Lobster or Texas Roadhouse, not many options in the middle of nowhere.

Last time I made dinner for them every night and it was much better food.

When I'm home Hell no.

I like Outback a lot nod those damn lamb chops w/ the cabernet sauce, & the chopped blue cheese salad tonk DAMMIT!

As for the main places mentioned, I'll go to Chili's or Olive Garden if forced, but I tend to avoid chains in general. There's much better food in the Mission district of SF, super cheap too...

YES!!! I've been to Red Lobster twice and I was disappointed on both occasions. I even went there thinking the biscuits would be salty and not too good BUT I tried them and it was like " love ". lol

I'm not a fan of any of them (like others have said, I avoid chain restaurants when possible) but I go to Red Lobster with my family about once a year. When I was growing up that was where we went for a big fancy meal out. It was a BIG deal when I was a kid. It's still my family's idea of a nice, fancy meal out. Bless them. While I get grossed out, it's still kinda comfort food to me. If that makes any sense. lol

it was fancy eatin' when i was a kid, too. i think the only thing i'd eat (other than the biscuits, of course) was the popcorn shrimp. then i worked as a waiter at a red lobster for a year, which ended up in me eating all the cheese biscuits i'll ever need for the rest of my life. lol
