I know what the most SUPER human thing she does is...considering her butthole is only about 6 inches from the ground.

i had a dog like that. he was only about a foot in height, if that
and he would walk past a tree, back up and walk UP the tree with
his hind legs until he was almost in a vertical position and THEN
he would take a shit.

lol

it would always roll to the side or something, fcuz, and i still
don't know why he did it. he just liked taking a poo whilst he
was upside down.

OMFG faint

That is EXACTLY what she does. She will back her junk up against that chain link fence too and leave a turd or two hangin up there.
I keep trying to catch her in the act with the camera. redface

my cat chuck is extremely talented with his front paws. they're almost like little kitty hands, the way he's able to grab and manipulate things. it's why we adopted him in the first place - when we saw him in his little cage, i scratched his ear with my finger, then he grabbed my finger with his paw and pulled it into the cage and wouldn't let go. it was so cute, there was no way we could leave him behind. touched

my other cat grady snores, but i think a lot of cats do that. shrug

My cat occasionally sleeps in bed with his head on the pillow and the covers over him. And he occasionally lounges on the couch with his back propped up by pillows and his legs out in front such that he's sitting upright like a human! It looks ridiculous! lol

When I used to have cats, the eldest one always used to whine for attention when his baby brothers first appeared in the house. Would scream bloody murder until I picked him up and carried him around the house. Eventually, we had to go through me giving him the talk that said "Look, Delano, you are getting too old for this" lol .

Before I got him fixed, he snuck out and got some trollop girl cat pregnant. Eventually, he manned up, decided to leave home so he could provide for her and the kittens, they apparently lived near my old apartment 8 blocks up the road. I could monitor his activities because the flat was right across the street from the supermarket I went to everyday. How he knew how to get back to our old apartment was totally beyond me. He would show up to spend time with us at home, though. Usually 3-4 days at a time. Then at some point he would get that look in his eye and tell me it was time to go by meowing at the door. I'd polish his little pet tag and send him along with a sardine in his mouth. neutral .He stayed with his cat family until those kittens became large enough to fend for themselves, then he came back home.

The middle cat had this odd habit of sneaking up behind the youngest one when he was eating and smacking him in the head with his paw...

My cats always insisted on sitting in their own chair at dinner parties. They just sat there, with their kitty ties on all dressed up, with a little saucer of their own food in their chair...and would just sit upright when they weren't eating and would be looking back and forth at everyone in conversation like they were participating in the discussion lol

I loved my kittiies, miss them dearly touched

Not at all, dear. I have a very hard time with people who humanise their pets, people who extensively attribute human behaviour to their dogs are usually the ones who fail to train them. Animals are animals, they don't behave like humans. My dog eats blueberries when I pick them, it doesn't mean she's trying to be human. Mini yells back at me any time I talk to him, it doesn't mean he's talking to me. shrug

No one said they "were" human babes, just that sometimes they react in a similar way to us or like the things we like, not natural behaviour but adapted because they live in our realm. In the wild would Uzi have a blanket.....or a rubber toy? nopes sure as hell wouldn't but that is something your dog enjoys because they live in our realm.

Read between the lines wink

The material she uses for toys and blankets are immaterial, as it were - the interpretation of pets' behaviour as human lies solely with the human. IMO, of course.

Interpretation as human...yes. Different from natural.....well we can agree there. My dog WOULD not bark at a sink for water if he did not live in a human realm just as yours would not have a blanket. Some would say that is humans adapting their world for the animal, other would interpret the animal as adapting to the human realm. Personally i see animals adapting to human influence everywhere. From urban foxes living off trash to adaptions in genetic material because of our pollution. I think the question was a little more surface than all that though.....don't you? hug
