Looks like officials in India are going to give homes to the kids who were stars in Slumdog Millionaire. The one problem: the homes will not have running water and will be in the slums. What I don't get is why doesn't the film studios buy them better houses? The film has earned one hundred million dollars so far. The film makers say they paid the actors above Indian wages, but I bet that aint much. Shameful.

Yet Dev Patel said in an interview that he is in no way rich from this film and he hasnt seen one red cent of it so far!!!!

Also, I really hope that Dev doesnt become a one hit film wonder and that he forges out a really huge and successful career after all the SM furore dies down!!!! He seems a really nice, down-to-earth, lovable guy, who doesnt really take himself seriously!!!! He deserves 2 go far!!!!!

Everytime I read about those little children it made me so sad. How did those people at the Oscars feel flaunting all that wealth knowing some of those kids had never even had on shoes before that night? I'll bet they had to tie Angelina and Brad to a chair because they wanted to take them all home. I'm glad something good is coming out of this. God Bless them all.
