Cell Phone Packages What is the best cell phone/package? I am thinking about buying a Samsung phone with the color screen and email capabilities. On amazon, it sells for $149 with rebates that total $150. Basically, the phone is free. Also, the service would cost $40 a month.
Is there anything better?

It depends on what is included in the package as far as minutes and how much you'll use to know what works for you.
I have Sprint... I get 500 anytime minutes, unlimited nights and weekends, unlimited pcs to pcs and free long distance... for $45.00. I also have Verizon which has 900 anytime minutes, unlimited nights and weekends, free long distance and 2,000 mobile to mobile for $90.00. As far as service goes, Verizon has never dropped a call on me, whereas Sprint is constantly dropping my calls. I wouldn't recommend VoiceStream... I've had nothing but problems with them in the past, and they aren't willing to listen to common sense when they make errors in your billing each month.

I have Verizon and the quality of their service is pretty good.
I get 350 anytime minutes; 3500 minutes nights (after 10 pm) and weekends and free state-to-state calling for $39 a month. It's a pretty good deal if you have friends and family out of state.
