I'm sorry bro but Rick just aint on the one! Homeboy's lost the Funk and that got nuttin to do with his fight with Prince. Last time I saw Rick was at a JB show at the Billboard live on Sunset Boulevard and James kicked him off stage cuz Rick was just not funky enough.
After all its a matter of taste. Too me any Funk record that came out after 1977 (with very few exceptions) just sux...

you want Rick Flaws? here they are:Rick got predictable after "super Freak" hit.He should have never released "Garden of Love".His Production Suffered after the "Cold Blooded" Album in favor of the Mary Jane Girls IMHO.I give Rick Props for what He created period.not everything He does I Like.but the Cat is Underrated IMHO.His "Wonderful" Album except for "Lucy's Rap" was Weak.He got too a Point where He didn't care anymore.but in His Hey Day Rick brought Some Jams IMHO.
