Regardless as to why we women shave, I shave for myself. My husband could be on a business trip for a week, my razor is still on double duty. Just part of my morning routine.

Thou shalt not look raggedy in a short skirt. I love EVERYTHING about Mo'nique otherwise. This has always puzzled me because she's very "glam" in every other way. She loves her hair and makeup, and often wears "flashy" clothes. There must be a JUNGLE just a few feet above those knees. You people don't have a whole lot of experience seeing a woman's legs in their natural state, eh? That's, if anything, only a moderate amount of hair. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

I know. The undergarment industry (corsets and such) were running a number on women AND men for years about the "correct" shape of a woman. But it's when advertizing as an industry really kicked off that it got scary. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

It was around 1914 that women's hemlines started rising for the first time - and blouses (and undergarments) became lighter. Also, around the turn of the century, the safety razor was invented - which meant that women could shave themselves in the privacy of their own homes. (No decent woman would have gone to a barber shop to have her legs shaved by a barber.) We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Come close, 'cause I'm whispering so no one else hears. That's what unshaven women's legs look like. Regardless of whether she's hairy or not, I don't really find Mo'Nique attractive. However, I suppose I could see why another man would. She's confident and comfortable in her own skin and.....FABULOUS! She's a big girl and she's not afraid to flaunt it. I commend her. I respect her. Now, as far as her comedic skills are concerned....well, that leaves much to be desired. And sometimes, she has the tendency to be obnoxious, but it probably has a thing to do with self-empowerment and the recurrence of meeting folks who have an affinity to obstructing the extraction of confrontation into conflict. Her childhood was probably a lot to bear, so I understand. But do I find her attractive? MEH! Not in the slightest. This sig is just a fig of your imago-neigh-shun

Women are free to sport the "natural" look if they want.
I am free to crack on them if they do. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I am free to crack on them if they do. Do it from a safe distance. It is has been scientifically proven that hairy women are twice as strong as smooth women. Nature don't play.

why not go all the way?
no make up, no hair style/product. a dress made from a curtain. if your going to do it, dont do it half-assed. To make a thief, make an owner; to create crime, create laws.
