Slumdog Millionaire Controversey I am not sure if there is another thread on this but I hear on the radio today protests are taking place

It is good entertainment and that is as far it goes. It does not portray reality as to what Mumbai is. There are slums in Mumbai but far between because a lot of people from all over India come to Mumbai hoping to make it in the movie business or to improve their standard of living. It is mainly Middle and upper class. The term slumdog is literal translation from Hindi. | |
