I wanted to start another one of these threads, since currently I am hooked... or rather, ADDICTED to the Harry Dresden books.



My wife has the series, and I pretty much ignored them until a few weeks ago when I needed something to read (taking my daughter to her tutoring class) so I gave it a go. HAVEN'T STOPPED SINCE. These books are like crack. I was up 'till midnight last night finishing up "Death Masks". They're easy to read, yet intense & interesting. I would almost believe that Jim Butcher cast a real spell on his books instead of J.K. Rowling (as she has been accused of doing).

Anyway, so are there any other Harry Dresen fans out there?

I just finished reading this and liked it. Kind of a Bladerunner-type sci-fi mystery/thriller. It was pretty enjoyable.

I have only read Storm Front so far, but I really did enjoy it and I wouldn't mind reading the rest of the Dresden books too

I really liked the realistic use of supernatural elements


...As for now, the only thing I'm reading is this geometry text book to make more lesson plans for a student I'm tutoring

i'm re-reading salman rushdie's "midnight's children" for the 3rd time.

i love that book. it's in my top 20 of all time fav books. incredible.

Once my spring break starts, I will read Politics, Culture, and Economics During the French Revolution. I know, it doesn't sound very interesting. I like that kind of stuff.

I've heard of Harry Dresden and have thought about getting some of his books, but now I'm into Charlaine Harris's Sookie Stackhouse books.

The latest one is due out in May 09 (hurry...hurry...hurry...hurry)

They are like crack to me Just light, entertaining, guilty pleasure.

I'm not reading anything serious lately.

I just finished Neil Gaiman's "Coraline" and "The Graveyard Book"
