Just reading some lyrics. I won't say what or whom because for me it doesn't matter in regards to the topic.



Guess I'm just showing my age, but I don't need to know that "I got a cell phone call..." "I got a phone call" will do just fine.

"Heard it on the internet" "Heard it" will do just fine.

Silly I know, but I find it bugs me. To me it dates the lyrics and limits them.

How many people get "paged" anymore, yet it's still junking up lyrics.

Pet peeve I guess. Not important.

My favorite album title of all time is "More Songs about Buildings and Food".

That NEVER gets stale!

Yeah, but "buildings" and "food" is pretty non-specific.
